I am a photographer from Los Angeles and member of this group since 2005.

Thanks to everyone for the invaluable tips. I ended up staying in a beautiful BsAs apartment for 3 months in 2009 and will return as often as possible. I could even see myself living here in the future.

What a beautiful city and friendly people.

I'll be in Chile and Brazil for a few months later this year.
